Alex Malouf, Sr. wanted to offer his customers “Beautiful furniture at a fair price.”

Thirty two years later, Alex Malouf, Jr. continued the tradition. He began to manufacture high-end accessories under the name John-Richard. This new line provided unique furniture pieces to compliment Malouf’s factory direct store.

In 2000, Gardner Malouf took his grandfather’s original concept and expanded it to Foley, AL. The remnants of an old, burned building were transformed into Malouf Furniture and Design’s second showroom. The popularity of Malouf continued to grow on the gulf coast for several years. Then in 2004, to better service it’s customers, the Foley location expanded its showroom and warehouses to 90,000 square feet. The new showroom includes a furniture design center, home theatre, rug gallery, mattress gallery, Ekornes Stressless Gallery, art and accessories! Many services such as window treatments, electronics, and housewares packages are also available. Q: How do I order?
A: You can order online using our secure server or call 800-368-9721. The process is quick, yet thorough. Some products are only available via telephone order. If you want to know about any specials, promotions or floor models, please call us: 800-368-9721.
Q: How are the products shipped and how long to receive them?
A:  We use a combination of Fed-ex, UPS and other shipping companies, depending on the size of the product. Shipping includes delivery to your residence. If you wish inside delivery on orders that do not qualify for free white glove service, please specify at time of ordering.
Q: What if I have freight damage?
A: When your products arrive by a trucking company, it is best to inspect the contents at the time of delivery.  Our shipping cartons are specially designed for the rigors of cross country shipping. That means the chance of damage is minimal. If you do have a problem, all we ask is that you bring it to our attention within 48 hrs of delivery. You will never have to file an insurance claim or any other exercise in order to get replacement items. We take care of everything in a timely fashion. Your satisfaction is our goal.
Q: What are your warranties and how do you service them?
A: All of our products have a “no hassle” guarantee. That means any product purchased from us has the full support of each factory which manufactures our products . We are an authorized dealer for each of our products and in most cases have had long term relationships with them. We will be happy to process any warranty claim you may have, but all dealers are obligated to help you with warranty claims so it can be handled at a store in your area as well.
Q: Can you ship Internationally?

Q: Can you send swatches of the materials?
A: Yes, many fabrics, leathers, and colors are available.
Q: What is your privacy policy?
A: Your communications are secure. We share only that information necessary to fulfill your order. Your personal information and communications will not be sold or used by any other entity.
Q: Will my credit card be billed as soon as I submit my order?
A: No, your card will not be billed until we confirm pricing and availability. Non-stock items only require a deposit for ordering.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: If you item arrives damaged please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will process the best solution immediately. If for some reason you feel the need to return an item purchased from us which is not due to damage, first we ask that you contact us within 7 days of delivery and discuss the issue. If ultimately the issue cannot be resolved a return will be authorized, but you will need to return the item in its original shipping carton if possible, prepaid to our warehouse (in transit within 14 days of delivery). Once inspected and considered to be in “like new” condition we will provide you with a refund. Additionally, due to credit card transaction fees and other expenses incurred in processing your order, all returns will be subject to a 5-15% restocking fee which will be deducted from your final refund. This policy is applied totally at our discretion. This return policy only applies to stock orders (items ordered within the Ekornes sponsored stocking program), custom orders can only be returned in cases of damage.
Q: Can I check the status of my order?
A: Feel free to call us for order status. Your order confirmation will provide you with an order number and will be emailed immediately after your order is placed. Please reference this number when calling. Tracking numbers will be issued to you once your items have been shipped.
Q: More details about sales tax:
A: As a licensed business in the state of Alabama we collect sales tax on orders delivered to an Alabama  address. Outside the state of Alabama we do not collect sales tax and it is the customer’s responsibility to insure they are in compliance with their particular state’s tax laws. We do not provide any information to agencies outside the state of Alabama.
